Proposed Layout & Designs for:

John, Audrey & Kaitlyn Klimbach

477 Whispering Dale

Clarkesville, Georgia  30523

Design Criteria

Garage.  Final layout and size subject to allowable site variance and building permit.  Approximate sketches of detail elevations are found as exhibit to the client web-page.

Matching Appearance to the existing structure (residence) by roof color and texture; log cladding on exterior walls; stone wainscot on front elevation.  Exterior trim materials and stain/sealer colors to match existing structure.

Landscape/grading:  Proposed site adjacent to the existing structure is relatively level.  Minimal grading into the adjoining bank to divert natural drainage away from the structure at the toe edge of the uphill slope.

Driveway approach:  The current driveway will not need to be improved; no grading necessary to continue the approach to the new structure.  Existing gravel pad will suffice for a turn-about with the only recommendation for timber or raised stone tire blocking at the edge of the grade drop.

Angled Common Line:  To provide a squared front that hides the angled rear line by the body of the structure and the use of gabled roof square to front.
